Frankie's Cafe

I went crazy hungry today for a "merienda", so we decided to have my heavy snacks slash lunch at Frankie's. It's another American cafe right in one of the malls of the city. It basically serves hamburgers and some Mexican food like quesadillas and tacos at an affordable price.

Kaitybob's Burger

If you want to have a taste of the best burgers in town, try KaityBob's Burger in Baclayon, Bohol. I just heard of this burger joint recently this year by a friend of mine who said that there's this hidden best-tasting burger in the nearby town of Tagbilaran. We tried it and we we're not disappointed because truly the taste speaks for itself.

There's not much burger varieties here in Tagbilaran except for those fastfood burgers like Jollibee, KFC or Mcdonalds. No offense, these fastfood burgers are good but once you try this gourmet American-style burgers of KaityBob's, you'll taste the difference.

Cobo Awesome Possibiliteas

Tell me who doesn't like milk tea? If there's one, you probably are not Asian. :)

I visited Cobo for the first time for another milk tea experience and it was good. I chose my royal milk tea with average sweetness and I kinda felt I should've purchased "intense sugar" instead. Ambiance was good and milk tea was good but no offense, I loved Bubble Bee Tea House more. Cobo was a lot cheaper though and their tapioca was the best chewy gooey balls I ever tasted. ;)

Not to mention, they give a generous amount of tapioca on your tea!

Harbour City Cebu

Dimsum is probably the best dish invented for me. Being Asian and having a blood line of Chinese, I have been growing up with lots of Chinese dishes home-cooked by my grandma. So far nothing can beat that not unless I go to Cebu to eat at Harbour City. :)

Gahh! Last weekend I went to Cebu for an important affair and I told bff to not miss at least one of our meals at Harbour City. It's a resto we surely would go back over and over again! I hope there's one like in Bohol so that we don't have to cross the island just for this sumptuous dish!

Bopha typhoon is coming

It's really bad news that Philippines is hit again by typhoon "Pablo" (Bopha) today. This time, it is not just a regular typhoon but a super typhoon as they say. Never had we experienced a typhoon as intensified as this one since 1990. God spare us especially us here in the Visayas and Mindanao area. Let's all be safe and continue to pray.
