Frankie's Cafe

I went crazy hungry today for a "merienda", so we decided to have my heavy snacks slash lunch at Frankie's. It's another American cafe right in one of the malls of the city. It basically serves hamburgers and some Mexican food like quesadillas and tacos at an affordable price.

We have this thing going on with my bff about finding what a real and fake milkshake is really all about. :D It started when we went at KaityBob's and they let us try their authentic milkshake (milkshake that is made the US of A way). So what's a real and fake milkshake?

Ok so,milkshakes are made without ice. Contrary to how we make shakes here in the Philippines, ice is never used but instead, only ice cream, milk and maybe some sweeteners. There's not a lot of milkshakes in town, so we went for a search ;)

Well, I give Frankie's milkshake a thumbs up for their milkshake. Not too sweet but it's delish because I can taste ice cream; cream and not ice. Also, they are so generous on the amount of ice cream. Not much froth too from the milkshake maker, which I hate the most coz it feels like sippin' air.

Their burgers are not the best though. But it's far more worth the price than those on fastfood chains. They have a fuller patty and real tomatoes and cabbage with a similar price to regular burger chains. Still yum!

But I have this thing for oozing juiciness for burgers and I kinda missed that at Frankie's. ;)

excuse the bags. ;)
